This SE facing beach is an excellent location for learning to jump and gybe. The water at is fairly flat at high tide and wind funnelling through the Menai Straight can create excellent sailing conditions at Beaumaris. There are strong rip tides though and beginners who are not fully competent with water starts may get into difficulty easily.
Getting there: From Menai Bridge head NE along the A545 into Beaumaris, follow the signs for the beach
